Today I went to the Boston aquarium. Checked on some of my favorite fish there such as the arowanas. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen them?.
If not...They are probably typical public aquarium fish.
I checked on the Asian arowana ( yes the one I'm using as my avatar). I found the Asian aro hanging the corner area next to/behind the enclosed cichlid tank. I was there for hours and each time I checked back, the Asian aro was hanging there instead of swimming around the tank..Sick?.
Last time I was there, the Asian aro was lively and swimming around the tank.
The silver arowanas have drop eye, I wonder if these fish are in pain from it...For one of them, the eyes seem like they are trying to flip around and the backs of the eyes are popping out.
As much as I enjoy watching these silvers, the drop eye is a real eye sore ( no pun intended). Does drop eye hurt the arowana?. I wonder why the Boston aquarium doesn't give them surgery to correct this.
