Hay I will be heading out to the boston area tomorrow.I want to visit a couple area pet stores..Where should I stop ?Name and address would be a great help. Thanks

In Boston you've always got Skiptons... it's on Southampton street just don't know the number. My local fish store about a 4 minute bike ride :D

If you're closer to western Boston I like to go into Tropical Isle in Framingham, it's huuuge.

Those are about the only two places I'd go into for fish... But if you like herps/birds/mammals then The Pet Shop on Harvard ave in Brighton is pretty cool, and on the Green line (B).

Hope that helps!

Two places I would recommend. Both are 45 min away from boston

Uncle Neds

&

Tropic Isle (over 500 tanks but overpriced)

These are pretty much the only decent ones in the immediate area.

Definitely check out Skiptons. There is also Lovely Pets in Quincy, which is near Boston. If you're up for a little trip, definitely check out Uncle Ned's in Milford, MA. Tropic Isle has a TON of tanks, but generally little that is super interesting, and as previously mentioned, they tend to be overpriced, as well.
