bother?

How long could i keep a 3-4" tsn in a 90gal or is it not even worth bothering
 
that would probubly be fine for a number of months but the question is really.....are you able and willing to upgrade fairly soon? If the answer is no then I'd stay away from big cats.

I agree!!But you should be fine for a little while.
 
If you were to pick up one like mine you would have to becareful not to spook it because they spook so easy and they have an unfortunate tedancy to run into the side of the tank and kill themselves.

Good point. And the smaller the tank the easier to spook. Thus.......90 gallon :grinno: for long.

agree with all the above unless you are fortunate enough to get one like my current one. Never moves cept at night then just hovers in the 65 hex he's in. Once I feed him he settles back down, and is the calmest fish I've ever seen. I have yet to spook him even when vaccuming around his tank.

:ROFL: Mine spook if a flea farts 2 doors down on an alley cat....they get spooked... which in turns makes the Hybrids go nuts... next thing I know I have 5 cats slamming into the ends of the tank. Lucky no one has died from it yet... but I'm sure it'll happen sometime soon, Thats why this weekend i bought all my little kitties some new 180G temp homes :D Hope to have them set up and running by the end of next week if they actually get deliverd on time :headbang2
