Hello,

I'm fairly new to cichlids and I have a stocking question. I have 2 Skunk Botia and a Yoyo Botia who I've had to remove from my 80 gallon peaceful community tank because they are just way too aggressive (my poor Lionhead's fins are shredded to bits!) so they are currently in a spare 10 gallon I had sitting around which is way too small for them. Would they be alright in my African Cichlid tank? I have Cichlid species who are lower on the aggression scale (other than my Jewel Cichlid) so I'm actually a little worried that the Botia would be too aggressive for even that tank. Any thoughts?

I would refrain from doing so as they each have different water requirements. And african cichlids may seem peacefull to u right now because they aee surrounded with other africans... U pot an oddball in amd ita like open season on the fat kid in dodgeball

Depends on the types of African cichlids you have ...I've kept in Tanganyika setups for a few years

I have a very mixed African tank. Zimbabwe Rocks, Mara Rocks, Demasoni, Strawberry Peacock, Gree Afra, Afra Cobue, Christmas Fulu, Ruby Red Albino, Jewel, and a Raphael Catfish

I currently have a mixed African tank which houses two yoyo's and they do just fine once in awhile one will chase another but it goes both ways other then that they do fine
