Hey-

Wat up all?

I had a 45 Mbuna Tank wich is going to my 2 FM and a Copule o Cons. I had (have) 3 Skunk Botia's in there that I want to keep. (Love the tough little buggers) They handled Africans no Sweat (I Have had them for years) and Since the Old World guys kill any cats outside of sydontis (at least for me) I was wondering how these guys would do with the much larger yet not as aggro Ca/Sa's. Any ideas??

Thanks all......

I don't know why you think Africans are more aggro then CA/SA, but if you plan on keeping them with a couple cons (convicts=cryptoheros nigrofaciatus) they wil probably end up dead. I think rams, or apistos would be ok, possibly discus or geos, but that would be about it. African's are realatively peaceful compared to most CA/SA. 1 the american cichlids might be big enough to eat the botias. 2 the americans are generally super aggro, end alot end up in a tank all by themselves (Red Devil, Red Terror, Dovii,Jag) If you wanna keep them with nice, go african again.

There are alot of peaceful americans, but cons are not one that are peaceful. Pound for pound they are the most aggro of cichlids.
