Botia dario and Corydoras similis.

So I've recently purchased another 40 breeder and I plan on moving the 7 Hyphessobrycon anisitsi into it, I also plan on getting 5 Botia dario and 5 Corydoras similis. I've been reading up on this and there are very mixed opinions on whether or not it will work. Some say that Botias with out compete the cories for food and pick at them and harass them, while others have no issue what so ever. Another thing as far as I'm aware B. dario is pretty placid loach species, so what are your experiences mixing botias and cories?

I've had clowns with an assortment of different cories, only a problem when the cories would lay eggs and try to defend from the clowns. And that was only a few moments before the eggs were eaten and then back to normal.

I haven't mixed my Dario with cories but I do have it in a mixed loach tank. It is one of the more peaceful one in my tank.

Yeah as far as I'm aware they are rather placid, so I think I may go for it

I think you'll be fine with that mix. Just watch the cories closely to make sure they eat enough food.

Yeah, plus I have another tank I can put the cories in if something goes awry.
