Can you please suggest some good Bottem Dwelling fish which would be good to go with Red Devil Cichlid . He is currently in a 120Gal tank along with a Common Pleco . He was in with a Jack Demspy an Oscar and a Jaguar Cichlids too but i had move them out as he wouldn't stop bullying them but hasn't touched the Pleco at any time , so i am think if i get a couple more Bottom Dwellers it would be better than getting any other fish that swim more in the middle/ top areas of the tank .

Please help .

good question i would like to know this too. i have 2 pairs of RD's 3" each
in a 180g with a rino pleco and a rescued oscar abought 4" they bullied the O till he had anuff then he started bullying them since then they leave him alone.
i think i'm going to look in to the smaller plecos and some of the larger loaces

polypterus would be good, mine gets left alone. go for a bigger one not a baby. as long as the poly cant fit anything else in the tank in its mouth it will not attack them.

my poly also eats sinking pellets no probs.

i have a sengalus but would reccomend a ornate (ornatapinnis) as they are beautiful colours and grow to a good size

cheers

megaldorus irwini

How old is the Devil? Sometimes attmpting to add others, with mature fish, can upset the balance. Resulting in him bullying existing tankmates, previously let alone. On the other hand, i understand Plecos to can become quite territorial. So there's no quarrentee anything would survive very long if they both are quite large.

Clown loaches are great IMO.

beast of a fish lol...
