Just a quick question has anyone used bottled water for their tank on water changes vs tap water. i assume bottled water would be fine so just curious. thanks in advance..
I would think it would get really expensive to fill up more than a very small aquarium with bottled watter. I've kept betta's in bottled water before but as long as your tap water doesn't have nitrates in it or some other serious issues I would just go with the tap.

I agree seeing how you can use conditonor to remove chlorine and other harmful chemicals and metals uless you have a really good reason like high nitrates ammonia or hard water there no reason to use bottled water just wasting money. And if need be there are cheaper ways then bottled water.
You could use botled water, but as stated above there is not really a point to, if you have bad water you can buy R/O system that would be cheaper than bottled water in the long run.
one of my best friends little sisters (23) was changing the water on her 5 gal with bottled water for months.
No one told her about tap with dechlor and she had watched her dad with a tank for years.
I found it a little amusing.
