The blue corner
This fish lives in my pond, he's always on the bottom - I have no idea what it is. Can anybody help?

That thing is cool! Did you put it in there or is it native?

It's always on the bottom. This is the first time I have had it out of the pond and had a good look at it. I thought it was going to resemble some kind of catfish.
I was suprised to see how deep bodied it was out of water.
I didn't add it to the pond it came with the house when I moved here. The fish survives in our climate which can hit minus 5 at the lowest. This unidentified critter is 12" at the most.
I posted this in another section also so if I get any i.d i'll let you know.

It is a Tench or Doctor fish or indeed tinca tinca. I have been informed.
