Hello forum. I have a 125 gallon tank that's looking a little sparse. Current inhabitants are a 3 inch Oscar, appistogramma Aggazzii pair and lone Cory cat, I'm picking up the black ghost knife tomorrow from my lfs. He's about 6 inch. Filtration is an aqua clear 110, (I'll be buying a canister to go along with it eventually) and I do 50% water changes once a week. What bottom dwellers can go with these fish and not get eaten? Everything except the Oscar is in there temporarily.

It's very possible that sometime in the near future, your oscar and maybe the knife (if its the kind that gets large enough) will eat the Apistogramma, and try to eat the cory, which may be dangerous for the oscar, knife and the cory, corys have a spine that sometimes catches in the throat of those that try to swallow it.
So a separate tank for them might be a good idea before the oscar gets large enough.
Many people keep Plecostomas as bottom dwellers because they are somewhat armored, and get large enough not to be swallowed

Agree with duanes. Those fish arent compatible longterm. Get a separate 20-40 gallon tank for the apistos and cory if you want to keep them alive.

I would stick with the oscar and knife for now, but if you did want a more active bottom dweller, you could try a medium sized pim cat like ornatus or albofasciatus. Just make sure to get them at a respectable size to avoid becoming prey for a hungry, fast growing oscar.

I probably should have made this more clear, the apistos and Cory cat are in there temporarily as in, I'm going to put them elsewhere this afternoon. So it'll just be the Oscar and knife. I'll look into the pim cats, thanks.
