bottom feeder w/ convict & firemouth

What medium sized bottom feeder would get along with a convict, firemouth, and a school of giant danios in a 55g tank?

I have 2-3inch Brochis cories with mine they do fine. I thought they would get picked on alot but not really. Or get like a pleco that only grows to 10 inches or less. Possibly some Pictus cats around 4 inches or so.

I have a couple of Striped Raphaels that never cause any problems in my tanks. Plus they can take a beating by larger cichlids. They are pretty common at most pet stores too.

most any loaches, small plecos, or small cats should be fine in a 55 with nigrofasciatus and meeki

i had a synodontis catfish with cichlids before. they are tough enough to fight back, but make sure they are a decent size.

can get a bristle nose pleco... do not get much past 6 inches and have cool look to them.. but like some other plecos they do not get lazy and stop cleaning....and they are tough as nails... can fight back.. careful when moving they can sting ya...

Grab a plec that doesnt grow more than 10".

hmm ive wanted a bristle nose pleco but my LFS had a wild caught they wanted like 40 bux for... know of anywhere to get them cheaper

Wow that's crazy money for a bristlenose. Around here they go for $8.99-$9.99 for full grown bristlenose plecos. Come down to the Dallas TX area and pick one up lol.
