Whats a cichlid that will eat the food on the ground that my rtc doesnt eat.will oscars,jacks or managuesse do this and can make hybrids of convicts.

my jd and fire mouth eat what they can find on the bottom after i feed them. best just to get a cory cat or something.

the problem is that most bottom feeding cichlids (earth eaters) will be small enough for your rtc to swallow!

my oscars and jag take food from the floor as do my tinfoils,,,,,,
but why would you rtc not eat the food?
try feeding smaller ammounts

If an RTC isn't finishing it, you may be over feeding it. RTCs have a healthy appetite.

robertsoni are big and sift through the bottom, although I wouldn't risk them being eaten by a rtc
