Bought 4inch Male GOLD SAUM!

FINALLY PEOPLE! i can stop bugging you guys about what to get for my 55g....he is about 4inches and has great fins with a great personality.....Right now he is in 10g tank for quarintine tank.....and
I am also waiting for a week to let the 55g to cycle....
will he be alright in the 10g for about another week?
and also what tankmates such as danios, or barbs, or bottom dweller could i might add with him in the 55g?

how is the quarantine tank cycled and the 55 not? I would move the filter to the 55 from the 10 gallon and put him in there asap.

GTs are awesome I got my pair last week. I'm wondering about company for them, like danios, I'm not sure how much if anything I can fit in a 120 with them though

He will be fine in a 10 gallon until your tank is cycled. Just give him clean water I am a big tank and less fish guy so what I would do is no tank mates and just the GT.

As for tank mates I'd go with some giant danios or beunos aires tetras. Also my GT never bothered my rainbow shark.

pictus cats would liven the tank up a bit.

I used to have one that was really shy and ended having to give it away , I rescued another one and now he's my fav fish, good choice they have outstanding colour and personality. if you want to keep other fish (if you plan to upgrade in the future) make sure to add it now while they can learn to get along before it can cause to much damage.
