Hi all, its been almost two years since I have been on here. Have made some changes since than, got married, new house, had a daughter. Now I have been in the new house for just over a year and am wanting to set up a 220 I just bought. I am looking for suggestions on what kind of freshwater setup to go with. I am not sure what I want to do with it, whether it be a large community tank of more common fish or if I want to go with just a few big monsters. Lets hear about what your favorite setups you have had or have that you were most happy with to help me decide what to do. Thanks
- I'm just now getting back in to it and have a small 10 gallon with an opaline gourami and rainbow shark (both juvenile) because my girlfriend likes smaller fish, but I miss having the bigger predators so i'm taking my 45 gallon back to my apartment (still not big enough for real monsters but it's an upgrade i can afford as a college student) - If I had a 100+ gallon at my disposal the one fish i'd like to have is a jaguar cichlid, with a 220 i'd get a jag and then figure out what would be safe in there with him, i'd love to have a pair of ornate bichirs and a jag but that's just me, will follow this post to see what you decide good luck
