Bought a new arowana

Bought an merlion emerald red tail aro for 300 14 inches will post pics Tuesday or wedsday when I get it but I got a question I wanna buy some clown loaches or some bottom dwellers but would it be to late if I put the aro in ? I think I should put the small fish in for bottom them
Put aro in since it might eat it orther wise lol my petstore also has 8-9 inches peacock bass will my aro eat that? Thanks lol

aros might fight w/ peacock bass but wont eat it

Make sure to have lots of hiding places for your loaches.
Your aro wont eat your bass, though there's a chance he'll bully the bass.

There are no hiding spots no decorations it just a plain tank with nothing bare bottom so ya

Wont fit your aros mouth

Your Arowana won't eat or bully your bass for as long as the bass won't fit in the aros mouth. They are good tankmates. I've seen so many tanks with this combination. I actually have one. My aro is close to 30 inches and my bass is 7-8 inches.

You can put anything with arowana as long as they're big enough not to fit in aros mouth.
