Just bought two small pike cichlids today at my lfs. they couldn't tell me what kind they are, which is kind of a bummer, but they were the only place around here that had pike cichlids at all. they are both about 4 inches, and are a yellow/olive sort of color with a line of dark blotches through the middle (almost look like thick slashes of black). will have pics up soon, but hoping in the meantime someone might be able to tell me what kind they are. the lfs guy says they should get about 16 inches, if that helps at all. they have already eaten a couple of feeders, but the guy also says they're eating flakes and pellets. i've also got blood worms and krill, will they like that stuff too? sorry, i know it's a lot of questions but they are my first so i'd like to do the right thing for them. right now they are in a 55 with plans to upgrade in about a year to a 250 with my other central/south americans. thanks for any help!
