My wife asked me to take our daughter out to give her a break. So I said okay I decide to take her to petland so I could buy some anbus or a sword plant. I get there and the guy wants to sell me a 9 or 10" Jag Cichild for 30 bucks, he looked awsome. But I was worried he would eat my firemouth or my jewel, so I declined.
As I was looking at the plants I saw they had what looked to be 7 or 8" Bala's, so I had to ask if he would make me a deal. I got both of them for 20.00 each and got two sword plants. I ended up walking out with two fish and two plants for less then the marked price of the fish.
I know you might think that was to much to pay for the bala's but I love bala's and I know they will play nice in my community and they are big enough my Oscar will leave them alone.
They instantly started schooling with my existing two bala's, although I was off on the size one of them was right at 7" - 8" but the other one is smaller then my other two so I am guessing he is about 6".
So I had to come home and figure out how to tell my wife that a trip to the store just cost me 50 some dollars.
