Bought some baitfish with something extra...

Ok so I buy baitfish every so often to feed to my Oscar and every once in awhile there'll be a fish that doesn't belong but isn't of any significance.. except this time I found one that looked too out of place, and well I singled it out and I find out it's a baby smallmouth bass... Probably an inch in length so now I'm debating on feeding it to Oscar or putting it into a lake in that has small mouth bass.

Any idea what I should do?

Do you have another tank? I'd say grow it out and either keep it or sell it once it grows big enough.

Lol that's where I'm probably gonna have trouble, I live in Wisconsin and idk what the stipulations would be seeing as how technically I paid for it *Unknowingly* I just do not need dnr or something knocking on my door for illegall keeping of a wild fish

I saw screw the government, as long as you don't go around talking about it then no one will know except here. As long as you don't go saying where you live no one will know.
Note, I would not do as I said unless you 100% don't care about paying the fine or whatever they have if it is illegal.

Not worth the risk lol.
If anything I'll just feed it to Oscar if anyone were to make a fuss.

Or just put it in the tank and "hope" it gets eaten if you know what I mean.
