What can you tell me about these guys? I haven't planted anything yet. They will be going in the tank in my avatar, although I have pulled some of the plants from it as it was pretty overcrowded....

The small plant is HC. The large stem plant looks like Ludwigia of some sort maybe Ludwigia glandulosa but much less red than I am used to seeing. The last one I was torn between what your friend though and anubias nana like the_deep though. Just pick it up and see if it has a rhizome. That should help identify it.

It's in a pot. I haven't taken it out of the pot yet. I'll be doing that tonight. I got home late last night from the LFS, dropped the plants in the tank and took care of some stuff around the house and crashed.
I've been doing the research on the HC. Gonna try to get that stuff to root to a piece of wood in my 110 and plant it for ground cover in my 55.
