I can now say i am collecting gold saum..... i had some fish to trade into my local guys.... i came across a battered female saum.... a jd got her pretty good.... again why i tell everyone not to mix but anyways... i asked if hed let me take her home for some extra attention the store couldnt provide he agreed.. has anyone ever bought a sub standard fish with intentions of bringing out the best..... the nicest saum ive ever had i bought as a beat up juvenile.... he was all finned up almost starved and very very stressed n skittish at first..... he turned out beautiful im hoping this big female will heal nicely

Great job on the rescue! I just recently rescued a 10" male red tiger mota from my lfs.
I don't think that there's anything more rewarding than rescuing a fish and watching it regain it's color, strength, and beauty.
