I picked up this guy yesterday from a LFS. They weren’t sure what he was, and I’m not sure either. At one point I was even thinking metynnis but he’s got teeth and the jaw structure doesn’t fit.
He’s at about 4” right now. He was housed with one more of the same species hence the nipped fins. I’ve got him on his own with a few tetras so his fins should hopefully heal up soon.
Hasn’t eaten here yet, but was eating smelt and other food at the LFS.
Any clue what he may be? Thanks!
