anyone have info on these guys?
growth rate,maz size etc.
the lfs brought in some and im thinking of getting one.
however,if its a slow growing fish im not going to get one because it costs a pretty penny and i dont want it outgrown and eaten.
it looks exactly like this:

man...no help here. looks like nothing i've ever seen....damn....

Very little info is avalible on that specis of Boulengerella

Bump for info on a rare fish

any info at all?
max size?
i cant find any info on fishbase.
and the aquarium wiki states them as the same fish as cuvieri.
and i can see why from the tail.

Still looking only the Spotted and Striped pike characin are popular the other Boulengerella are pretty hard to find

lucky me.
i got the last one from the lfs just.:naughty:
apparently, lucia is just a synonym for cuvieri.
meaning that it could turn out to be cuvieri.:naughty::naughty::naughty:
i think there are three species, cuvieri, xyrekes and lucius, which look pretty much like each other.
and cuvieri is the one with the spot at the base of the caudal fin.
which this gut that i bought has.
however,im not sure if this is the permanent color or if it will start changing later on.
i just have to grow it up i guess.
