Does anyone know if the Spotted Pike Characin or the Peruvian Gar is compatible with discus? Some sites show yes and others say mildly aggressive. Just looking for opinions and/or experiences.

Always wanted those, but i never owned one before other then the common hujeta gars. I had discus with a lot of toothy & aggressive characins and none pay any attention to them. I'm confident it will work out since sp in that genus are not known to be aggresive, but then again discus are sensitive fish & theres always risks with predators.
Alright. It bmight be worth the try i have a hujeta coming in now. Do you have a clue how these characins handle shipping? I have no LFS that sells them near me.
