OMG! ON ORANGE COUNTY CHOOPERS THEY ARE CATCHING DATNOIDS WITH BOWS AND ARROWS WTF SO SAD!

So? I'm assuming its legal wherever they are, and its just a type of fishing. I'm pretty sure they are food fish in other countries, just as many native fish are in the States. If they are catching them and someone is eventually going to eat them, does it really matter how they catch them? They are going to die anyway.

This was posted eslsewhere already but what is interesting about the whole thing is that these so called datnoids were caught in waters in Louisiana.Dats are eaten in some parts of Asia and are said to be quite tasty but it is interesting that there might be a thriving population of them in the states..Now that's what you would call an AT lol.

Myself and my dad are setting up a trip to go bow fishing this year! It looks like a blast! As far as eating them, hell yes I'm all up for some gumbo and cajun fish!

LOL and you probably won't....I just watched the segment of the episode where they did the fishing and the first fish caught did have stripes and a similar body shape but the guide clearly stated that it was a sheephead.
