Bowfin aggression?

I don't know much about them, nothing actually. But in terms of aggression levels how do they compare with other fish?

I've dealt with snakeheads in Florida, are they similar to them besides appearance?

I have kept a few bowfin ranging from juvies up to 20" adult males and none of them were aggressive towards other fish, only towards other bowfin. I've kept them long term cichlids, arowana, gars, misc catfish without any issues at all. They are very similar to bichirs as far as aggression goes. Will only eat what they can fit in their mouth and are able to catch. with rays,
