2ft + and a 120 wide will work but will be ok in a long tank like 125 or 150

try 3' + and they would need way bigger than a 150

will never hit 3 ft in a tank. depending on what part of the world they are caught will help determine the size it can grow in the wild

Mine is growing rather slowly, as it doesn't seem to eat much. Right now it's maybe 8" in a 90 gallon. It act's like it either can't see or can't smell. Had it for a few (3?) months now.

But yeah, they are supposed to hit around 20" when full grown in an aquarium setting.

These guys, although they can get to be pretty big (3 feet might be stretching it a little, but technically possible I suppose) dont move very much, and could be kept in the same manner that large sharks are. I am opposed to that though...so yes. Your going to need a large tank.

Sorry. That whole post seems like a contradiction. Moral of the story, many people keep them in smaller tanks than 180's.
