That should work.Would a 96”L x48”w x30”D 600g be large enough or should it be bigger?
Haven’t gotten the fish yet; dong my research first so I will not have to stress the fish by moving it and can just get the right tank setup from the beginning, but if this Jonah’s is a good place to get bowfins I’ll keep him in mind for when the tank is ready to stock!Did you get yours from jonahs by any chance?
Sorry, afraid not, doing my research before I get the fish; but when I do there will definitely be pictures!Any Bowfin pics?
I haven't ordered from them, but I hear they are very good with native fish and know a lot of other members have gotten fish from them with great results.Haven’t gotten the fish yet; dong my research first so I will not have to stress the fish by moving it and can just get the right tank setup from the beginning, but if this Jonah’s is a good place to get bowfins I’ll keep him in mind for when the tank is ready to stock!
Thanks, my fish ( like all my pets) are like my children and I want them to thrive; it is after all my job as their mother to provide them with everything they will ever need! So I start planning my tank sometimes years before I setup and get the fish; there are a lot of important things to think about, information to gather and things to learn.( I don’t want bad surprises, they’re not fun)Congratulations on your responsible attitude regarding this new acquisition. Truly refreshing when compared to the all-too-common "I just bought an XYZ Fish and know nothing about it...Help!!!"
