bowfin thriving

i was told it would be tough to keep the rest of my bowfin fry alive but out of 10 i have 3 thriving. as of this am they are hitting pellets and i was wondering if i should keep them on just that and discontinue the bloodworms or not. let me know pals...

I would keep them on the pellets. It will be easier on the pocket in the future. Just change it up every once an awhile for a little extra nutrition. Maybe some worms once a week if you want.

what ever they will eat give them that at that size...get more restrictive after they are well established and bigger...

May I ask where did you get them? I've been looking for some bowfin. A guy in Columbus had a post but hasn't responded...

what was your technique (food, tank, light, hides, temp etc) and how are they doing?
