Bowfin Update

So i got my bowfin onto frozen silversides about a week and a half ago. but the past 3 days he has bitten it then lets it go. what should i do?

Also can i start to slowly heat the water as to acclimate him to 70-75 degree water??

He will take it, just give him a day or two, when fish are hungry enough they go for anything. Any pictures?

not at the moment do u think he'll be fine with the heat too? And wont the heat boost his metabolism as well?
