Bowfin with ropefish???

Hey guys, i was going to pick up a bowfin for my large tank and i dont have anything in there but a 10in pleco and a 10i. Ropefish. Do yall think the bowfin will cause any problems. The bowfin is only 6ins now and is pellet trained.

Not now but eventually it will predate on it.

i haven't had much in the way of experience with ropes, but i kept american eel with my bowfin. never had any incidents. As long as the rope inst significantly smaller it should be fine
