how long does it take for a bowfin to reach 10 inches or so.. ive had mine about 3 mos and hes only like 4 inches?

I have heard they are fast growers, feed him more!

man i feed him 3 pieces of krill one day and cut up market shrimp the next.. alternating.. throw minnows in there once in awile.. he will eat those 3 things wont take colorbits bloodworms brine... i think cause its to small. plus theres hardley any nutrition in bloodworms and brind but alot in colorbits.. i wish hed eat those. i was hoping hed grow real fast so i could add him to my dorado and pike cichlid and arrow..

Gut load some feeders... maybe increase the variaty too. crickets, ghost shrimp, worms, etc
