He guys he's doing great the only thing im worried about is he hasn't eat n I figured his mouth might still be a lil sore... Should I worry?

keep lots of live food availible to it...it is an adult fish that has eatten live its whole live...it has been stressed from the transfer to your tank it will take some time...
All nine of my full grown Bowfins absolutely loved crayfish. They weren't big fans of gold fish, but would eat them from time to time. Good Luck
