Hello, this is only my second post here, I have been a member for about 5 min. If this has been discussed before I apologize. I was thinking of selling some bowfin this year but before I go through the trouble of getting supplies and things I wanted to see if there was even an interest. How many (if any) would be interested in something like this?

A fair bit of interest around here. Breeding them yourself? Generally states frown upon selling wild caught fish without a permit.

Definately check out your state regs, to say they frown upon it is an understatement in some states. I would contact the guy at zimmermans and se if he could lend a hand, or contact your local DNR. Also, most people will want juvies, can you provide those?

Yes I can provide juveniles. THey will be wild caught but I hope to get them acclimated to aquariums. I think breeding them myself is out of the question. Not sure about the state regulations but I don't think it will be a problem. Hey if so then I just won't do it.

I could ship to Canada but I am scared the fish would not make the trip to well. Could always try I suppose. Not sure how fast shipping is once you cross the border.

I could try and ship to Canada but not sure how well the fish would make that trip. Not sure how fast shipping over the border is. I can ask post office. Also don't want to get in any trouble shipping animals across the border , could be another issue there?? Any ideas?

Pm me the prices and size and I'll look it up.
