This species is banned to own in a lot of US States, if you are living in the State of this species native water area then go out and try to catch them on your own.

Alot of states wont sell them because its a native fish. Native fish are usually harder to find but ive seen them avaliable from time to time. Your best bet is to try and catch one and transport it home in a bucket with an aerator attached which can be rigged from a battery operated air pump or putchased at a tackle shop

Highly seasonal. You probably won't find them (local or for sale) until next spring.

This but I wouldn't worry about an aerator, they can breathe out of water.

What Shook said as well, highly seasonal, not many vendors carry them as they aren't in a seriously high demand usually either. Where are you located jollie?
