Boxer pup and Hakari Gold

Do you think that this food will hurt a pup??? He got into one of the stands and busted the page open and scattered it all over the livingroom floor. He was eating it when I came in. I don't think it will hurt him, but I wasn't sure. Thought I would ask.

No it wont, my dog loves hikari pellets I throw her a few when I feed my fish. My other dog polished of an entire bag of cichlid bio-gold when he was a puppy (along with the couch, curtains, all the bread in the cupboard and every box of cereal) and he was fine, boxer pups are pains in the arse.

haha... nah there is nothing in there that can hurt him... poo might be a lil funky smelling or discolored but besides that should be okay

Should be fine. Not much different from dog food except that it's mainly fish protein in the hikari.

Fish is good for dogs. It's oily.

You ought to see him watch my Discus. There tank is fairly low. He can stand on his rears and look at the fish. He follows them around the tank. They seem to acually enjoy it. I guess they are freinds.

My dog has eaten a whole bag of hikari cichlid staple...no ill effects.

Boxers have tough stomaches. My friends Boxer has eaten some bizarre things, and he's still in excellent health. He's a big doggy too, 110 lbs!!! And that's all muscle. In other words, ewurm is right.

In some cases, fish food is probably better than the el-cheapo dog food.
