Looks female to me too, the dorsal and anal fins are blunt, mature male traitors are usually much more extended, and come to points, some beyond the caudal.
The head profile is torpedo shaped, a female trait, males are more substantial, steeper.
And the colors are not as bright, less metallic than I would expect a male to be.
Although at only 9 ", if a male it would only be 25% to 35% of adult size
Of course the colors may be the photo lighting, but I doubt it
