boys or girls please?

hi guys could you please try and tell me if these are male or female, the first one was really beat up when i got it about 2 months ago but has fully recovered apart from a little bit missing on the dorsal and the next one im sorry about the dark pictures but it is my new main tank and it has really low level lighting, i tried putting a few extra lights on but it didnt really make a difference. thanks guys

Can't tell from pics IMO, have you considered venting?

i tried when i changed the larger one over to the main tank but if im honest i couldnt be one hundred percent sure, i know what im looking for but i couldnt be confident about what i was seeing

cant tell with the darker pics but the brighter pics are female

you see i thought that about the lighter one til about two weeks ago as it had very little spotting and that line down it but it has now developed alot of spotting (compared to before) im not grat at this sexing thing with jags
