Boys or girls?

with only 2 it will be harder to tell but the male should have longer pointir fins and maby a slimmer boddy while the female should have rounder fins and a rounder shorter body. i would go back and buy at least 2 more if you are trying to get a pair if there were 4 there is a better chance a pair will form and it is easier to notice the difference with more individuals and then trade in the others later prob for the same as you paid for them as they will be bigger and comand a better price
Watch your coloration on these guys, if you get the females stressed out they will lose color if they are not happy, i had on for a year in a tank with other fish and she turned all silver and black splotchy, she was not happy with all the other bully fish, as soon as i put her in a 29 gal. by herself for about 4 months she colored up with great color.
