i work at a LFS and we carry blood parrots. my wife has always wanted one but i just havent had a tank for one. right now i have a 150 with african cichlids and clown loaches. im thinking about bringing a BP home for her. my only worry is my frontosas. I have 6 around 4" and the BPs we have at work are about the same size. as long as the BP doesnt hurt the frontosas i'll get one.
my question is, i dont have any experience with them and aggression past 3-4". do they become more aggressive when they are larger?

the ph is 8.0 i used to keep it at 9.0 but the clown loaches didnt do well

Whats the Ph of your tank? Bp's really prefer a ph of less than 8. Any higher and I and wouldnt bother.

This sounds like fluff to me. BP's are hybrids... meaning they have no real origin... Unless you are referring to the fish that are bred to create BP's... but then of course you would have to claim you know what fish are used to create them, and really, no one knows...

Anyway, I too have a few bp, and one is very aggressive. It's going to be a 50/50 chance as to wether or not your bp will be too much for your fronts.
