right now i have a 30 gallon aquarium with 2 fish in it, a juvie green severum, and a 4-5 inch blood parrot. and the BP just started getting little black spots on its fins. any advice will be appreciated

Probably from stress. I would check your water, check your temp, and see if there is any bullying. Long term you won't be able to keep both fish in that small a tank.
yeah i know i plan on converting it to an african aquarium. but the only one doing any bullying is the parrot. but the water is like 78. and she swims around happily all day so idk.
no there is no sign of it at all. they just started showing up. but it is not very large right now its about 5 inches long and like 2-3 high. but its just odd to see these little black spots.
Check your water. BP's usually only show black dots dues to stress or bad water conditions like Chris mentioned...
