Plenty of people on Facebook groups who breed f1 red texas. Not any I know of that post about it on here currently.
Lots of people have over the years. This is an old thread where I mention a past breeder of this cross, Cjbarth. I link to some of his past fish later in the discussion. Apparently it also appears that I upset a couple of folks with my comments. lol

I had F1 RT. Two different crosses from different breeders. These were the best examples (около 25% faded of the garbage heap).
Beautiful fish. How big was the one in the last picture? He looks pretty thick.
The male was 12.5 inches. F1 is very different from subsequent generations RT, in the blood of which the number of texas genes increases and the genes of vieja and midas decrease. The picture shows the classic RT F> 1.
