Brachyplatystoma Juruense Patches on its body!

Has anyone seen patches like this on a Jurunese cat? It is healthy in every other way but it has these swelled patches all over its body? It's diet is basically smelts and some shrimp. Any ideas what it is or any remedies? These picture where back at the start of January and he is still okay but the patches aren't going away. I haven't tried treating it with anything yet! I would just like these patches to go away!

It just developed like this. He was only about 3" when I got him and now he is about 8". I feed him smelts and shrimp on a stick and he eats the occasional feeder.
 
Have you touched the spots? Are they like bubbles (blister), or squishy in any way?

Also, I would recommend varying his diet more.. bloodworms, shrimp pellets, massivore...

And NO feeders!!!!

About an inch a month.. then they slow up after about 7"

I have 3 Juranese Cats with 2 pbass.. they are all of the same size, but I think the pbass might grow slower.
