I used to have two of these in the UK - the first I had in 1989 - I kept it for 3 years before going to Uni - a very slow growing catfish - also quite skittish and shy - always active though - the second I got in 2004 - it survived for only a month as I struggled to get it to eat - yours looks to be of a reasonable size - is it eating?
