brachystoma or merodontus or merodontotus

Hello guys,
I am confused, I used to think there was only merodontotus tigrinus. But I am seeing some videos and sites listing brachystoma tigrinum. Is this a distinct species? Or a synonym? If they are different could someone explain? And any husbandry differences? Thanks so much for you time in advance.

I think the actual scientific name is Brachyplatystoma tigrinum and the others are outdated names for the same species. http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=354
