As you can tell from the pics, bracing on top of plywood is a no go. At the time of construction, the placement seemed fine. The glass was a factor; the tops of the windows were right at the top of the tank, so I did'nt have the room to place the braces inside the plywood as I did with the center brace. I'll glue and clamp the plys back together and then seal it; hopefully I caught this in time. I replaced the other side as well, although the other side is fine I am not going to wait for a problem to show up. Lesson learned.

how does that hold water??

hopefully inside.
Nice tank, like the porthole like windows.
Do you have a thread of the construction. If so I would be interested in reading it.
Thanks.

I have a thread in the diy forum; "Beginning my plywood monster". I finished up the repairs and placement of the new braces. I feel much better now, but the fish were a little freaked with all the fuss...

p.s. I am posting some updated fish pics in the photo forum
