So I've finally gotten the information and funding to start my ~300 gal aquari-coffee-table-arium. It's going to be 90 inches long by 30 inches wide by 22 inches tall. I was going to use 3/4 inch plywood, and instead of gluing or screwing the edges, I was going to use metal angles along the edges and bolt them together. Do you guys think it will hold up without bracing?

I think you are right about at the limit when it comes to bracing and not bracing. I have a 315G plywood tank that I built with external bracing. I am sure the metal bracing would work just fine, I cant see any reason why it wouldn't. If I were you, because the tank is only 22 inches tall, I would build the tank and glue and screw the tank and then do a test fill to see how it holds up w/o the bracing. There is currently a 500G build going on that is glued and screwed but I dont think it has seen water yet.
