brackish java fern?

I've also read this, but have never tested it. I think there are several common plants that can live in brackish conditions.

its possible but keep in mind that salt dehydrates the cells inside the plant and the result is death. The concentration of salt is the aspect that impacts on the time it takes to kill the plant.

Salt is made up of two chemical elements that, in minute amounts, most plants need to live: sodium and chloride. In larger amounts, salt will kill most plants. A very few are salt tolerant, including barley and beets and some types of grasses, such as Bermuda grass. perhaps, java fern can tolerate more salt then other plants. however, like i just mentioned the concentration of the salt would be the aspect that borderlines life and death.
