So I'm trying to decide between brackish or salt water tank, I've got a little 8 gal tank that was used for red cherry shrimp. I was thinking a brackish water puffer tank, but now that I've bought all new stuff I'm kinda thinking salt. I've never had either set up before.

What are the dims? It looks too small for a Figure 8. There are a few different FW species that would be better suited.

I'd turn that into a nano reef. Fill it with easy low light corals and some sexy shrimp. Or a Yasha goby/pistol shrimp pair assuming that the tank is acrylic

haha awesome! Thats a great little tank and canister.

I agree with above. Nano reef with some shrimp. Maybe a little goby? But im not all that familiar with salt so Im not sure if there are any suitable.

Looks great so far.

Thanks the filter that I had in there sucked, so I found this on amazon for 20$.

Looks similar to my 8 gallon Nuvo SW invert tank. I upgraded the Nuvo pump in the back to get more circulation in the display, and added an external canister to it.

I mocked up a pt skimmer, but it might be a little much. LOL
