just out of curiosity are there any relativly small brackish stingrays?

Only one i can think of is Dasyatis sabina (atlantic stingray) but it is subtropical and would not fair too well in a typical tropical brackish water aquarium. The only other subtropical brackish fish i can think of is puffer. tokifugu ocellatus.

Or the humantra rays but who knows how big they really get.

any others anyone can think of?

A lot of the 'brackish' or estuarine rays you'll find around are in fact marine species that venture into river mouths, usually quite temporarily. Many of them grow huge, too - which is why I can imagine why they aren't imported that often (if at all).
