ive got a 70 gal brackish tank (37" - 30" - 17") with 3 scats a mono & 2 g tile morays. my sg is 1.010 and rising. im running an aquaclear 70 w/ 2 undergravel filters (substrate is mix of gravel & crushed coral). I want to go marine to add in a cleaning crew of snails and shrimps. my question is what kind of cleaners should i be looking for that my fish will co habitate with and wont grow too large. also any suggestions on small fish that would do okay with thesde tankmates.
thanks pfh

sorry no shrimp, there on everybodys main menu. Whats this g tiled, do you have scientific name on them please ? What are all the sizes of your fish eels ec. ? love to help you more but need more info????

g tiles are gymnothorax tile (ie freshwater moray eel) about 18" i have 2. my 3 scats are about 3 -3.5 ". the mono argentus is about 2".
i cant find info on scats and marine cleaners anywhere.

don't scats evetually need marine anyway..

even if they don't need it, i know they can handle it,, i've seen it done a few times before

yes I also have seen it done only I specimens 6 in or larger. I beleave they spawn and grow out in mangroves. than move out to delta and shoreline marine habitats hey big gour from IL. I think Ive seen them at the shed but not sure if it was a brackish or marine setup. they where a good size though but its been awhile

well the some of the ones i have seen were in a 200 gallon in-store display.. they had about 6 of them and they were easily 9-10''
it was a coral tank so i guess they are reef safe.. i wouldn't trust them though (they do eat a wide enough variety of stuff to be called scatophagus afterall..)
they had a lionfish and a few tangs and i think a genicanthus angel with a few wrasses and anthias
